Open auditions for Richard O’Brien’s “The Rocky Horror Show” at Randolph College Wildcat Theatre will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 7 and Sept. 8 in the Thoresen Theatre, located in the Leggett Building on campus. Dance, music, and acting auditions will be held Sept. 8, with dance and music auditions only on Sept. 7 (auditionees will be asked to return Sept. 9 for acting audition).

The show, directed by Kathy Clay, with musical direction by Randy Speer, and choreography by Hiawatha Johnson Jr., will open Oct. 30 for two weekends. There is ensemble casting for up to nine men, and nine women.

Singing and dancing required for all roles though not the determining factor for casting. Participants should come prepared to sing, dance, and read from the script. Prepared audition pieces not required. Perusal scripts and music available on reserve in the Lipscomb Library and in the theatre green room.
