The News & Advance names new regional advertising director

Scott Burton has been named regional advertising director for The News & Advance in Lynchburg.

Burton is returning to The News & Advance from a job as local sales manager at Cox Cable in Roanoke. He brings 19 years of experience in sales and marketing, with sales and management positions at The News & Advance, the Roanoke Times, and the Blue Ridge Business Journal.
