Dun & Bradstreet has ranked Teva Pharmaceutical Industries as Israel’s strongest company.

Teva became one of Bedford County’s largest employers in December when it finalized its purchase of Barr Pharmaceuti-cals. Its facility in Forest has more than 550 employees and began an expansion about one year ago.

Dun & Bradstreet, a world-wide business information firm, ranks Israel’s top 100 companies annually. This is Teva’s second year in a row topping D&B’s list of strongest companies based in Israel.

The strength rating is based on equity, net profit, operating income and market value.

Teva’s stock on the NASDAQ closed up 28 cents at $42.49 on Wednesday.
