RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Eight men and one woman who have evaded a combined $523,000 in child support are on Virginia’s latest ``Most Wanted’‘ list.

One of them is an Altavista man, James Edward Pritchett, who owes more than $48,000, according to the Virginia Department of Social Services Web site.

Each evader is profiled on an online poster compiled by the Virginia Department of Social Services. The poster contains each person’s photograph, physical description, last known address, occupation and the amount of child support owed.

The errant parents include a painter, car salesman and quality assurance inspector. They owe child support ranging from $177,401 for one child to $23,304 for two.

Many of the non-custodial parents have relocated, but Virginia has reciprocal agreements with every state in the nation and 25 countries.
