Presbyterian outlasts Flames

CLINTON, S.C. — Pierre Miller scored 22 points — including a go-ahead 3-pointer with 28 seconds remaining — to lead Presbyterian to a 67-66 win over Liberty in double overtime on Monday night.
Miller shot 7-for-12 from the field, with all of his field goals coming from beyond the 3-point arc. Josh Johnson added 17 points and Al’Lonzo Coleman chipped in with 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Blue Hose (6-9, 3-1 Big South Conference).
Anthony Smith paced the Flames (10-6, 1-3) with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Seth Curry finished with 15 points.
Trailing 51-48 at the end of regulation, Smith nailed a 3-pointer with 10 seconds remaining to send the game into overtime.
In the first overtime period, Johnson’s 3-pointer gave the Blue Hose a 58-55 lead with 6 seconds left. Curry responded with a 3-pointer of his own in the final second to force double overtime.

So many close games lost! I think we’d be 14-2 with some wins that count!
