2:15 p.m. - At the end of the 3rd quarter in this high scoring game, Jame Monroe is up 44-30.
1:25 p.m. - Brookville faithful were thrilled with the team’s early lead but became frustrated as JM pulled ahead in the second quarter. Many fans were sporting college and pro gear (VT and Redskins colors), which worked for Brookville as well. It was hard to tell if folks were standing in support of the Bee’s or in fear of the cold metal bleachers.
1:20 p.m. - JM is up 32-17 at the half. There have been a lot of bigs plays over the quarter.
12:54 p.m. - Conflicting reports! Reporter at game says it’s 14-14. Earlier update is incorrect - our apologies for the mistake.
12:51 p.m.—It’s 17-20 with James Monroe winning in the 2nd, with 5 minutes to go.

Oh, and play-by-play coverage is not every 45 minutes. That is a joke. Whoever calls this play by play or excellent coverage is delusional.
Not really a Brookville fan, but what did you want him to say….“I EXPECT us to lose?“
The major mistake made by Brookville was in allowing thei coach Woody to yap too much to the press.
“We EXPECT to win” blah blahblah.
He shoulda kept his trap shut, but that seems to be impossible for Brookville folks to do!
i agree with damalama; do not call it play by play when it is hardly quarter by quarter. As far as going to the game, if you do not like it sounds like you work for the newspaper or maybe are the reporters spouse.
I think it was great coverage. No we didn’t get minute by minute reports. I guess if you wanted better coverage you should have went to the game!!
what horrible coverage…it’s 2 p.m. what happened what was the score at 1:25 pm…i can only assume that brookville is getting beat since there are no updates…even though the title is called PLAY BY PLAY.
Horrible coverage there news and advance.
