Campbell supervisors OK rezonings

Campbell County supervisors approved several small rezoning requests during Monday’s meeting.

Among them were rezoning about 3 acres in Brookneal from heavy industrial to residential for a single-family home and rezoning 1.3 acres at the corner of Leesville and Waterlick roads from multi-family residential to business for a service station, restaurant and general store that is planned across the street from Timbrook Park.

Supervisors also approved rezoning 2.5 acres on Timberlake Road from general business to heavy business for a machine shop already operating and approved a special use permit for a special events business already operating off English Tavern Road.
