Creigh Deeds to make Central Virginia stops

Creigh Deeds, Democratic candidate for governor, plans to swing through Central Virginia on Monday, visiting three communities in one day.

Deeds will make two stops in Lovingston — at the Nelson County Courthouse at 8:30 a.m., and at the Nelson Center to speak with senior citizens at 9:30 a.m.

During the courthouse visit, Deeds will be accompanied by Sheriff David Brooks and county Supervisor Connie Brennan. 

At noon, Deeds will be in Appomattox at Baine’s Books on Main Street to talk with local business owners. 

And in Bedford at 3 p.m., he will tour the National D-Day Memorial, accompanied by World War II veteran Karl Price.

Deeds also plans to visit Buckingham, Chatham and Danville on Monday.
