Crime Stoppers: Thieves target Lynchburg and Altavista stores

Surveillance video from Wal-Mart may help Lynchburg Police solve a larceny that occurred Nov. 17, as well as two larcenies on Nov. 11 in Altavista.

Thieves made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the Wal-Mart at 3900 Wards Road in Lynchburg and stole from the Wal-Mart on Clarion Road and the Food Lion on Main Street in Altavista, police said.

The images taken from surveillance video show three subjects seen entering and leaving all three locations together.

Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest. All information is confidential.
