Crime Stoppers: Amherst authorities seek refrigerator thief

Know anyone who’s come into a really nice refrigerator lately?

Amherst authorities are investigating the theft of a “high end” refrigerator from a new home construction site on Beech Lane in Amherst County.

The refrigerator, a stainless-steel double-door KitchenAid worth more than $7,000, was taken on July 24, or July 25.

It weighs 671 pounds.
