Man charged in school bus wreck

A man was charged with reckless driving Friday after rear-ending a school bus on Wards Ferry Road at the intersection with Timberlake Road, Captain Brandon Zuidema of the Lynchburg Police Department said.

Nathan Neblett, 21, was charged with reckless driving. Neblett’s foot slipped off the brake while his Subaru and the bus were stopped at the intersection, Zuidema said.

There were no children on the bus and damage was minimal, he said.
