Old Forest Road car theft caught on tape

Surveillance footage captured the theft of a car from Billy Craft Honda on Old Forest Road last Saturday, according to Lynchburg Police.

Police said the camera caught a gray four-door sedan driving across the parking lot and three white males walking around several cars at the dealership around 10:30 p.m.

The suspects looked at several cars before settling on a white 2009 Honda Accord EX, police said.

One of the suspects, police said, wore a white baseball hat, a white T-shirt and dark-colored shorts.

Another wore a yellow T-shirt with a design on the back and tan shorts.

The third suspect wore a dark T-shirt and light shorts.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the individual(s) who committed this offense.
