Cash-strapped Lynchburg-area localities are lining up hundreds of millions in "shovel ready" infrastructure projects in anticipation of a federal economic stimulus package expected to be front and center after President-elect Barack Obama’s inauguration.

Below is a searchable database of projects localities in Central Virginia hope to be funded through that package. The database will be updated frequently to add additional projects.
