The Hillcats’ series opener at Wilmington Thursday was postponed due to rain in northern Delaware.

The teams will make up Thursday’s washout with a Saturday doubleheader.

The four-game set will now open at 7:05 tonight, with Ronald Uviedo (2-3, 3.81 ERA) taking the hill for Lynchburg against Wilmington’s Alex Caldera.

In other news, Hillcats right fielder Miles Durham was named the Topps Carolina League Player of the Month for May in a poll of the league’s eight managers.

Durham batted .333 with six home runs and 21 RBIs in May.
