State police investigating Appomattox County house fire

Virginia State Police are investigating a house fire in Appomattox County that they say was intentionally started Monday night.

Trooper A. Goss said the blaze at 418 Beeks Lane in Appomattox County was "definitely arson," adding that authorities found matches and accelerant at the scene. Goss said that state police were at the location several times earlier Monday.

Two people were displaced by the fire. No one was injured.

Goss said police are looking for two individuals in connection to the fire, but would not name them.
