RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Governor Timothy Kaine is heading to Indiana this weekend to campaign for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.
According to a statement from Kaine’s political action committee, Moving Virginia Forward, Kaine plans to appear Saturday on behalf of the Illinois senator at events in Connersville, Lawrenceburg and Richmond, Indiana.
The Virginia Democrat was among the first governors to endorse the Obama in early 2007.
