The Bedford County Board of Supervisors will have a joint meeting with the county’s economic development authority today and also receive a presentation from the Region 2000 Economic Development Council.
The discussion runs from 5 to 6:45 p.m. The board will break and reconvene at 7:30 for a public hearing and other business.
The hearing regards a special-use permit for Patrick and Laura Wynnyk to allow a private stable in Forest at the end of Coolidge Drive less than a half mile from Hawkins Mill Road. The property is zoned Planned Residential Development (PRD), which calls for a permit.
The Bedford County Planning Commission unanimously gave a recommendation for approval in September without any public opposition.
