Some quick hits and things to look for in tomorrow's News & Advance:
* LU tailback Rashad Jennings will have surgery Wednesday to repair his broken right pinky finger, and Flames coach Danny Rocco ruled him out for Saturday's game against Glenville State. Rocco said "questionable" when asked about Jennings' status for the Western Carolina game Sept. 13.
* The schedule for 2009 is done. Home games: North Carolina Central, James Madison, Iona, Coastal Carolina, Presbyterian, VMI. Road games: West Virginia, Lafayette, Charleston Southern, Gardner-Webb, Stony Brook. I'll expound upon the schedule in the notebook running in the Wednesday paper.
* Linebacker Nick Hursky's knee scope went fine, and he'll be out this week. Hursky said Saturday he hoped to be back for Western Carolina, and Rocco confirmed that timeline Tuesday.
* Look for a feature on Flames receiver Jonathan Crawford in tomorrow's N&A.
