One person has been arrested and another is wanted in the robbery of an elderly Campbell County couple as they returned home from church last March.

Nowlin is being held in the Campbell County Adult Detention Center without bond.
Delphine Yvonne Scott, 40, of Railview Road in Gladys, faces the same charges though she has not yet been arrested.
The robbery happened on March 11, just before 9:30 p.m. when an 87-year-old man and his 84-year-old wife were coming home from a Wednesday night church service, said Capt. L.T. Guthrie of the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office.
The couple pulled into their garage at their home on U.S. 501 north of Rustburg and as they got out of their vehicle, the two suspects entered the garage wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered with bandanas, Guthrie said.
They assaulted the couple, bound them to chairs in the garage and then robbed them of money and personal possessions, Guthrie said. The couple was not seriously injured. One of the suspects was armed during the robbery, he said.
Guthrie asked that anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Scott to call the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office at (434) 332-9574 or Crime Stop-pers at (888) 798-5900.
