Lynchburg police are investigating a shooting Wednesday on Floyd Street that injured a city man.
Police and rescue workers responded to the 1700 block of Floyd Street just before 6 p.m. following a report of a shooting, according to a police department news release issued Thursday.
They found Orlando DeSean Harvey, 24, with a single gunshot wound to the groin area. He was treated and released at Lynchburg General Hospital.
