Projected student enrollment at the Amherst branch of Central Virginia Community College has doubled for the upcoming fall semester compared to its inaugural spring semester.
The number of students enrolled for the fall semester as of July 29 was 86, up from 42 students who enrolled in the spring, according to a report.
