The first meeting of a support group for Lewy Body Dementia is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. today.
The hour-long session will take place in the conference room of Centra’s Lynchburg Family Medicine Residency, 2323 Memorial Ave., suite 10, the lower level of the Plaza.
The support group for those who care for or have family members with the disease is the first in the state, according to organizer Jean Driscoll.
The group will meet at 3 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of the month in that location. For information, call (540) 580-9000.
