Lynchburg police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a woman inside her Hood Street home Tuesday.
According to a police department press release, a 60-year-old woman entered her home on Hood Street south of Lakeside Drive to find a stranger inside.
Police reported the man threat-ened the woman at knifepoint, then forced her into her bedroom. Police believe he fled her home through a back door toward Richmond Street.
The man is described only as a dark-skinned male.
