Va. Tech band to perform in inaugural event

BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) — Virginia Tech's Corps of Cadets Regimental Band will perform a 20-minute set at the Lincoln Memorial during an inaugural celebration for President-elect Barack Obama.

Virginia Tech said Friday that the band's performance is scheduled between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. Sunday in front of the memorial in Washington, D.C.
