The Community Dialogue on Race and Racism presenting symposium

The Community Dialogue on Race and Racism will present a “Racial Equity Symposium” at 7 p.m. Dec. 5 at Randolph College’s Smith Theatre.

The guest speaker, Duke University professor Eduardo Bonilla-Silva, is a well-known speaker on racial and ethnic matters.

His most recent presentations have been on the connections among the discourses of citizenship, democracy and human rights, as well as on the meaning and significance of the political ascendancy of Barack Obama.
