Republican candidate Scott Garrett was endorsed by the National Rifle Association on Wednesday in his race against Del. Shannon Valentine, D-Lynchburg.
The NRA scored Garrett with an “A” rating for his answers on a questionnaire the organization sent to candidates.
Valentine received a “B” rating based on her voting record as a legislator, the NRA said.
