The city of Bedford collected nearly 24,000 pounds of old com-puters, TVs, printers and other electronics during an electronic waste recycling event earlier this month.

The waste will be recycled at virtually no cost to citizens, according to the city’s Web site.

City Manager Charles Kolakowski said during a Bedford City Council on Tuesday another electronics waste collection day is planned for spring 2010 for those who couldn’t make it this month.
