Bedford County man dies in single-vehicle accident

A Bedford County man died after flipping his truck on Virginia 24 Wednesday night, police said.

Ronald Cook, 41, of Goodview, drove his Chevy Avalanche off the left side of Virginia 24 around 11:45 p.m., police said.

Cook was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the truck, police said.

The accident happened about half a mile east of Virginia 635. The crash is under investigation.
