The Central Virginia Land Conservancy is holding its Land Jam fundraiser from 3 to 7 p.m. Sept. 20. The event, which is hosted by the Greater Lynchburg Environmental Network, will be at a Concord farm owned by Dave and Mel Ellis, owners of Dish and Mangia.
Attendees will feast on locally raised chicken and pork, as well as locally grown vegetables. The meal will be catered by the Ellis. Local musicians, including Woody and Marcia McKenzie, will perform bluegrass and folk. Wine and beer will be sold separately.
The event will raise money for local land conservation efforts.
