Amherst County residents can speak on budget at two forums

Two forums will give Amherst County residents an opportunity to express their thoughts about the county’s next fiscal year budget.

The Board of Supervisors will hold a budget forum at 6 p.m. March 2 at the county administration building at 153 Washington St., which follows the regular meeting that begins at 1 p.m. that day.

Another budget forum will be at 5 p.m. March 16 at the Amherst Education Center, 219 Trojan Lane, to be followed by the regular board meeting at 7 p.m.
