U.S. being destroyed from within
I am sure that many people feel as I do in that we are sick and tired of liberals attacking the law that Arizona has passed to protect themselves from illegal immigrantss and the problems they create.
The people who say it is racist and unconstitutional have not even read the law. Our president, attourney general and head of Homeland Security have been mouthing off about something that they have not even read.
The real problem is that so many people believe the administration and the media, who have an agenda to introduce socialism and Marxism into this country, and never check to see if they are telling the truth.
Folks, if you never listen to talk radio or Fox News, you are being led like a sheep to the slaughterhouse.
Perhaps a good alternative to this would be to move Mexican President Felipe Calderone, the drug lords, gangs and coyotes to the U.S. Then we make sure that the present administration and all progressives (i.e., socialists) are made to stay in this country. The rest of us who love liberty can move to Mexico, build a fence on our side to keep the liberals out and enjoy the beautiful beaches, climate and coastline of our new home.
Then we can start over with freedom and liberty and let the U.S. be destroyed by these entitlement moochers.

For Hurt
On June 8, I’m voting for Robert Hurt in the Fifth District Republican congressional primary.
He believes the government does not need to take over our health care. The massive health care bill printed out looks as daunting as a set of encyclopedias and much more complicated. Hurt believes reform can be achieved with less government intervention into our private lives and wallets.
Hurt does not want our children and grandchildren saddled with a federal deficit beyond comprehension and laws that invade our healthcare privacy and choices.
We need him in Congress to fight for us and defend our healthcare choices.
On June 8, I encourage everyone to vote for Robert Hurt.

Kudos to the city
Most calls to the Engineering Division in City Hall are complaints or problems that we know should not always be the case.
My neighbor and I had a sewer line extension on our curved portion of the street. The city surveyor replaced a missing property marker at my request when he was doing his map work. The contractor, the F.S. Showalter Co., was excellent. They cleaned the street of dust every day with water when their work was done. Their craftsmen answered all my curious questions about this and that. They kept their heavy equipment on the side of the road so all our neighbors could move in and out. They are a skilled, competent and customer friendly group.
Nice job, everyone.
