The McDonnells are picking up extra costs associated with Executive Mansion staff and ground crews tending to their middle daughter's wedding reception this Saturday.
And there are no anticipated additional security costs, according to J. Tucker Martin, spokesman for Gov. Bob McDonnell.
Cailin McDonnell, the governor's middle daughter, will wed Christopher Michael Young, an engineer, at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Saturday and hold her reception at the mansion.
Afterward, the state's first family is expecting 200 guests to mill about the mansion's ornate rooms and its manicured gardens.
One member of the mansion staff will work on Saturday, consistent with standard practice of having at least one employee oversee private vendors operating on the premises, Martin said.
Two employees from the Department of General Services will tend to the grounds for "a couple hours" Saturday morning.
