Two men face charges in connection with a series of mailbox shooting in Amherst County this past weekend.
The sheriff's office says deputies arrested 18-year-old Brandon O'Neal Hendricks and 22-year-old Jarrod Devin Sowell, both of Madison Heights.
Investigators believe the pair shot several mailboxes in the Monroe and Madison Heights areas on Saturday morning.
Sowell is charged with DUI, felony shooting from an occupied vehicle, and felony shooting toward an occupied dwelling. Hendricks is charged with being drunk in public.
The investigation is ongoing, and the sheriff's office says additional charges may be filed.
