“Horses, Hogs, Sheep, Mules, Corn, Hay, &c. For Sale on the 27th of Feb. Having sold my plantation, I shall, on the 27th of the present month, offer for sale all my plantation Tools, Two Thrashing Machines, Two Wheat Fans, 6 Waggons, 2 Ox Carts, One Wheat Reaper – new – 10 Head of Hogs, 40 Head of Cattle, 17 Milch Cows, 3 Yoke of Young Oxen, 12 head of Horses, one Thorough Bred Mare, in foal by Red Eye, 8 Red Eye Colts, 100 barrels of Corn, 40 Stacks of Hay, one Devon Bull–thorough-bred, 40 Sheep–Cotswold with Lambs. I have for hire 25 or 30 NEGROES – Men, Women, Girls and Boys. Terms – Six months interest added for all sums $50 and over. Negotiable notes satisfactorily endorsed. ED. D. CHRISTIAN.”
