Lynchburg residents can place their undecorated Christmas trees on the curb for collection on the following days:

  • If a home is on a Monday or Tuesday trash collection route, trees may be put out Friday, Jan. 13.
  • If a home is on a Wednesday or Thursday trash collection route, trees may be put out Friday, Jan. 20.

Christmas trees can be dropped off for free at any of the city’s recycling sites or at Miller Park (on left side of parking lot off Park Avenue), Riverside Park (back of tennis court parking lot) or Peaks View Park (at grassy area between parking lot and restrooms at the Wiggington Road entrance).

All park locations will have a sign indicating the drop-off spot.
