Hillcats, Indians try again

»  Comments | Post a Comment

The Hillcats and Indians had the opener of their three-game series postponed Wednesday after afternoon rains made the City Stadium field unplayable.

The teams will play two seven-inning games tonight, starting at 6:05.

Jared Hughes (2-7, 4.43 ERA) takes the mound for Lynchburg in the opener. The Hillcats starter for the second game will be determined.

Kinston (10-8) will pitch Sung-Wei Tseng (0-2, 4.05) in the first game and Hector Rondon (7-3, 3.06) in the nightcap.

The Hillcats (11-7) have won 11 of their last 14 games.
