Not many drivers would win a cup championship, and still run their crew chief out of town. But that's exactly what Tony Stewart did to Floyd Count native Darian Grubb.
The owner/driver let Grubb know he wouldn't be back five races in, but the team responded to win the title, which didn't change Stewart's mind one bit.
In steps Steve Addington, and the Newman-Stewart combination will be back at it this year with the focus being on consistency.
Stewart's #14 car was dominate in the ten-race chase, but they weren't very good during the rest of the season. That's something 'Smoke' wants to change.
Meanwhile, Ryan Newman points out that his team had the same equipment and tools that Tony did, but they only managed to finish 10th, something he wants to change as well.
