The Lady Flames stretched their lead to 60-30 midway through the second half and Gardner-Webb got no closer than 27 points the rest of the way.

Avery Warley chipped in with 13 points and 12 rebounds, he sixth double-double in 10 games against the Runnin’ Bulldogs.

Liberty returns to action on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Campbell, with a chance to win the 300th game in coach Carey Green's 13-year career in the 1,000th game of the program's history.
